Returns Before Preorders
In a situation where one has placed a preorder but for some reason or another you need a refund before the preorder period ends, there is nothing to worry about. Contact me to request your money back and you will recieve a full refund.
Returns During Production
Once the production process has oficially started, the money raised during the preorder production goes to the manufactuer as soon as possible to continue the process. Projects like this are quite expensive to execute for a single small artist, so secured funding is forefront of everything else. With that being said, if one requests a refund once the production period has started, you will only recieve a partial refund since there is no way the artist can get that money back once it is sent to the manufacturing company.
Returns Post Production
If one decides to request a refund after the production process is complete, it can go of two ways. It differs depending on if a customer was a "preorder patron" or an "aftersales patron."
Aftersales Patron:
If you request a refund before your bag has been shipped out you will recieve a full refund.
On the other hand, if a customer requests a refund once your bag has been delivered to you, shipping to send it back to the artist will be covered by the customer and once the artist recieves the returned bag, a full refund will be admissioned. If the bag returns damaged or used, the customer will recieve partial refund. Furthermore;
A full refund or exchange can only be administered if the product was recieved damaged or lost during transit, or there is a significant manufacturing defect with the product.
Preorder Patron:
If a refund was requested after the production the period has ended, and the product has been delivered safley, a refund cannot be admissioned.
Since a preorder patron's pledge was used to have the product produced, used for shipping supplies, covering both international and domestic shipping, import tax alongside with recieving a unique certificate each preoder has, a refund cannot be aquired due to preorder patron funds being fully exshausted soley for the project.
The ONLY way a preorder patron can recieve an exchange or refund is if the product was damaged or lost during transit, or there is a significant manufacturing defect with the product.
With all of that being said, any sort of patron has our permission to resell the product in any second hand-markets, as long as TOXICJPG is credited as the original maker.
These limitations are set in place due to the nature of the project. It was a very risky and expensive endeavor for one artist to take on, and to endure so many set-backs.
Apologies for having a complicated stance on this, just know that any support given our way directly goes into future projects that you can look forward to!
Lost or Stolen Orders In The Mail
This is a very messy situation for both the artist and customer.
Best case scenario, if the tracking for the bag shows its still in transit when its been way past it's estimated delivery date, the customer will be encouraged to contact thier local post office. If nothing is resolved from contacting the local post office, and its oficially deemed lost in the mail; another bag will be sent out with no extra charge.
Worst case scenario, if the bag was delivered but the customer claims that it was lost or stolen, it is difficult for the customer to show proof of the item being lost or stolen. Since this is a high value item, what the artist can offer is a full refund on the shipping and 35% off of the next bag order. We wish we could offer more but when these situations happen, its usually the customer's word we need to trust and with a lack of proof it's a loss for both parties involved.
Damaged Products in Mail
If one recieves thier bag damaged due to the shipping process, two things can happen. If the customer decides to keep the bag we can offer 50% off if they decide to purchase another bag. If the customer decides they would like a replacement bag they could recieve a replacement bag at no cost to the costumer once the damaged bag is returned to the artist.
